About the product page audit

Why do product pages need a different GEO audit?+

AI shopping engines look at completely different signals than article retrievers. ChatGPT shopping, Perplexity 'best X' answers, and Google AI Overviews comparison cards lean on Product schema with Offer/price, AggregateRating, server-rendered specs tables, and visible variant options. None of these matter on a blog post — and missing all of them while running a generic SEO audit makes a product page look broken when it isn't.

Will this work on a Shopify, WooCommerce, or custom store?+

Yes — the audit runs on any URL. We expect Product JSON-LD with brand, identifiers (sku/gtin/mpn), Offer with price + priceCurrency + availability, AggregateRating with count, server-rendered specs (dimensions, materials, weight), and visible variants in HTML (not JS-only). Shopify themes vary widely on these — many ship Product schema by default but skip AggregateRating, specs tables, and server-rendered variants.

What does the report check for product pages?+

Five categories: (1) Citability — title length (20–70 chars), specs/dimensions table, server-rendered reviews, variant visibility, FAQ section. (2) Brand Identity — Organization schema, sameAs links, About/Contact pages. (3) Product Schema — Product, Offer with price + availability, AggregateRating, Review, brand identifiers, Breadcrumb. (4) Technical — HTTPS, canonical, sitemap, OG. (5) AI crawler access — robots.txt + llms.txt for 13 AI bots.

Yes. The audit is fully free, no credit card, no signup beyond your email. The email is used to send the PDF report and to notify you when the Shopify app launches. You can opt out of the marketing list in the report email or by replying.
